We make water softeners, and we make them right.  To us that's more than a motto, it's a way of life.  It has been since 1956 when our company was founded in Columbus, Ohio. 

Making Them Right
To ensure that we "make them right," in 1988 we reinvented our own water softening systems, earning seven U.S. Patents in the process.  These re-engineered systems were so successful that in 1998 we doubled our factory and warehouse space to help meet the worldwide demand for WaterBoss® products.

Today our founder can still be found walking the factory floor.  His nearly 50-year tenure makes us the oldest company in the industry under continuous ownership and operation.

Hard Water Harry, a popular industry icon many years ago embodied the hard work, reliability and home benefits of a water softener.  We like to think that the WaterBoss®  products, employees and service teams lead the industry in those very important ideals.

Although we are a successful company, we continually test our products to ensure that they can meet the current and future needs of the public.
